At 2am I finished reading a book called ‘Blaze’ by Steven King, published in 2007 but presumably written in 1973. Absolutely touching book.
Feeling tired. Need a thousand dollars and a time machine and a year off from a day job and a year’s free pay from the day job.
The whole neighborhood’s pretty quiet tonight. I’m dusting photographs, drinking Tecate. Listening to the soundtrack from ‘West Side Story’.
4:24am. Just finished 14 hours on the computer scanning/dusting photographs. Making up for lost time. Out of alcohol, so I’m shutting down.
We pushed everything to the backs of the shelves and hung our coats up and sadly left the room. In the office, time dragged.
Curious angels stand in the foyer, staring at passersby.
It was a super afternoon at the Memorial Hall. A team of medical specialists had arrived early, with boxes full of bandages and gauze.
All those beautiful days behind bars.
Wolves, hovering at the front of the complex into the better part of the afternoon.
Beautiful night. When Portland gets past summer, the clouds and the beautiful picturesque gray will come back to the town I know and love.
Dusting photographs. Looking for some fairly dark classical music on Pandora. Does anyone have suggestions? Slow stuff, preferably.
Mailed out just under 100 postcards today for my new photography show in September. Send me an address if you’d like one too. #pdxpics

Dusting photographs, drinking my second 23.5oz/12% malt beverage of the evening, listening to Varsity Drag (new Boston band by Ben Deily).
